First of all, my apologies, it’s been almost three months since my last post.  I didn’t even give you a “Dear John” letter or reassurance that my kids didn’t have me tied up somewhere or that I wasn’t in a lock down somewhere.

We are alive, Emma is here (!) and amazing and we are persevering as a new family of six..  Honestly, part of the reason I haven’t posted is because I felt like I had to fill you on on every detail that I haven’t posted about in the last three months and frankly that made me too tired thinking about it.

So I’m going to jump in where we are and of course I’ll fill you in on Emma and her entrance into our lives as we go.  So check back and I’ll keep posting!

It’s not as drastic, or as permanent, as when I used an entire bottle of Sun-In on my hair with a blow-dryer.  But my blog does look a bit different.  I was thinking I would try a different template to commemorate my first year in the world of blogging.  But what really motivated me was last weekend while I was checking out different blogs, I found one that looked EXACTLY like mine ascetically speaking.  It was much like showing up to a wedding with someone wearing the same dress or discovering my cyber-doppelganger.  I was a bit horrified.   I went right to my blog designer, whom I happen to sleep with, and told him we need to change my blog.

So there you have it. The design is a process though and is not complete.  I have an idea of what I want for the header but it hasn’t come up to fruition quite yet – so hold the comments for about a month.  I am hoping that this template you will actually be able to read from your iPhone. Yea!
